The Difference Between Heaven and Hell

Upon his death, he was pleasantly surprised to find that he still existed. Beckoned toward the elysian light so oft recounted by those less resolute in death, he emerged into a tranquil and nebulous state of being devoid of both time and its sensation. He looked back to see his mourners and find solace in their grief, finding a window with drawn curtains. A voice declared, “Here is both Heaven and Hell, yours to make. Behind these curtains lies the world, but be warned. Look not to the living, for to see the world is the plight of the damned.”
